三轮车夫刘阿福十年前抱养了一个女婴取名叫小花，野宫自从三年前老伴去世后，野宫他就跟养女小花相依为命，直到有一天阿福在工作中晕倒后送到医院，被告知自己得了重病，面对这昂贵的医疗费，刘阿福决定放弃治疗，想到自己时日无多，小花又年幼无人照顾，最好的办法就是送她到亲生父母身边，于是刘阿福找出当年抱养小花时留下的线索，打听到小花亲生父母的老家，就骗小花说带她去旅行，骑着三轮车带着小花开始了一段艰难又催泪的寻亲之旅。
