慧琳（徐英姬 饰）和赫奎（卞耀汉 饰）是在医院里工作的护士和医生，女同他们负责看护的，女同都是失去了自主意识陷入了昏迷之中的病人们。哲武（柳顺哲 饰）是两人手里的病人之一，同时是一位家财万贯的富翁，哲武的儿子尚宇（金英民 饰）早就打起了父亲遗产的主意，他要求医院尽可能的延长父亲的生命，为此不惜一切金钱代价。想要哲武苏醒，唯一的方法就是进行心脏移植手术。尚宇将目标放在了一个有着“圣母麦当娜”之名的神秘女子美娜（权素贤 饰）身上，美娜到底是谁，有着怎样的过去，为什么会沦落至今，一切都处于谜团之中，唯一知道的是，她目前正陷入昏迷之中，并且不知道何日才会醒来。在尚宇的威逼利诱之下，慧琳只得开始准备手术。
